当社のWIPO GREENへの参画状況およびサンホイルⓇ関連技術のWIPO GREENデータベースへの登録状況に関するお知らせ
―「サステなアルミⓇ」で環境対応を加速し、持続可能な社会の実現に貢献―

東洋アルミエコープロダクツ株式会社は、WIPO（世界知的所有権機関）＊1 が運営する、環境技術の普及・活用を促進する国際プラットフォーム「WIPO GREEN」＊2 に、2020年よりパートナーとして参画しております。
また、当社の家庭用アルミホイル「サンホイルⓇ」＊3 においては、アルミ製造時のCO₂排出量削減に向け、以下の取り組みを推進しております。
・2023年10月：再生可能エネルギーにより製造されたアルミである「グリーンアルミ」の使用開始
・2025年4月：リサイクル原料を活用した「リサイクルアルミ」の使用開始

これら環境配慮型アルミを「サステなアルミⓇ」＊3 と総称し、持続可能な素材の活用を推進する取り組みを継続しております。
この取り組みに関連して、当社はサンホイルⓇ関連技術である以下の4件の技術をWIPOが運営する「WIPO GREENデータベース」に登録しております（2025年8月登録）。

Announcement on Our Participation Status in WIPO GREEN and the Registration Status of Sunfoil®-Related Technologies in the WIPO GREEN Database
— Accelerating Environmental Initiatives with “Sustainable Aluminum®” to Contribute to a Sustainable Society —

We are pleased to announce that our company has been participating as a partner in WIPO GREEN¹, an international platform operated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) that promotes the dissemination and utilization of environmentally sound technologies, since 2020.
In addition, for our household aluminum foil product *Sunfoil®*³, we have been advancing initiatives to reduce CO₂ emissions during aluminum production, including:

October 2023: Commenced use of “Green Aluminum,” produced using renewable energy
April 2025: Commenced use of “Recycled Aluminum,” utilizing recycled raw materials

We collectively refer to these environmentally friendly aluminum materials as *“Sustainable Aluminum®”*³ and continue to promote initiatives aimed at expanding the use of sustainable materials.
In connection with these initiatives, we have registered four Sunfoil®-related technologies in the WIPO GREEN Database (operated by WIPO) as of August 2025.
